I like the pet, but I still think the Core Hound I got from the authenticator is cuter. I like the mail as well, and I think it’s the first time even though they’ve sent it from “WoW Dev Team”, not from some NPC like Breanni.

The anniversary pets came from the WoW Dev Team too, IIRC. Lore nerds around the world burst into tears :>
Oh, you’re right, I even have a screenshot of Onyxia Whelpling mail. I somehow forgot about that.
Now that I think of it, the pet should be mailed by Archmage Timear, at least it would give him something to do now.
